Undergraduate Students

Mikos, Georgios is a senior undergraduate at Stanford University from Houston, Texas, majoring in chemical engineering and minoring in computer science and biology. Georgios has previously conducted research in biomaterials, and he is excited to work on pulmonary fibrosis in the Longaker Lab. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and competing with the Stanford Ethics Bowl Team.

Gong, Macy is a first-year undergraduate from Portland, Oregon majoring in Biology and minoring in Music. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine. In her free time, Macy enjoys playing the flute and piano, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Tran, Patricia is a freshman undergraduate at Stanford from Clarksville, Maryland. She is majoring in Biomechanical Engineering and is interested in wound healing and fibrosis research in the Longaker Lab. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing the violin, and exploring coffee shops in the area.

Kim, Raphael is a senior undergraduate from Newark, Delaware majoring in Bioengineering and minoring in Sustainability. Raphael has previously conducted research in neuroscience and environmental science, and she is interested in tendon fibrosis in the Longaker Lab. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and reading and watching sci-fi media.
